Dorians is the 12th performer at 2013 Eurovision final

Armenia’s representative at the 2013 Eurovision, the rock band Dorians will be the 12th performer at the final concert to be held in Malmo, Sweden on May 18. In an interview with “ArmenPress”’s correspondent from Malmo, the Dorians’ press speaker Dina Hovhannisyan mentioned that the delegates and the band members are in a great mood.

“We thank all the voters and, of course, Tony Iommi,” said Hovhannisyan. The Dorians moved on to the final stage after receiving 50/50 votes from the jury and TV viewers during the second semi-final held on May 16. Among the other countries that moved on to the final stage are Hungary, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, Norway, Iceland, Israel, Finland, Malta, Moldova, Lithuania, Ireland, Estonia, Belarus, Denmark, Russia, Belgium, Ukraine and the Netherlands.

The “top five” countries, including Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy and Spain, as the co-founding countries, as well as this year’s receiving side Sweden, in accordance with the contest’s rules and regulations, will perform in the final without an initial selection.

Whereas the sequence of the participating countries was determined by a draw in previous years, this year the rules have changed and the contest’s organizer, the European Broadcasting Association has determined the sequence.
