Artsakh’s Permanent Representative delivers lecture devoted to Artsakh in Buenos Aires

On June 12, during a visit to Buenos Aires, Permanent Representative of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in the United States of America delivered a lecture devoted to the past, present and future of Artsakh during an event hosted by AGBU Buenos Aires Chapter.

As reported Hayern Aysor, Robert Avetisyan talked about Artsakh’s key issues, particularly the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict, stating the efforts that are being made for resolution of the issue. Avetisyan also presented the demographic image of Artsakh, adding that the figures will be updated after this year’s census. Touching upon the society, economy, education, healthcare and culture in the Republic of Artsakh, the speaker said that Artsakh has seen considerable growth in the past years.

The lecture was followed by a question-and-answer session during which Robert Avetisyan gave exhaustive answers to all the questions.

Honorary Member of the Armenian General Benevolent Union and Vice-Chairman of AGBU Argentina Antonio Sarafian greeted the attendees and expressed gratitude to the guests for the important meeting, emphasizing that such initiatives further strengthen the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora triumvirate.

Afterwards, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Argentina, His Grace Archbishop Kissag Mouradian gave his blessing and prayed for the Armenian people to be in peace and for the security of the borders, urging everyone to go to Artsakh and enjoy the nature and culture in the country.

The cordial meeting ended with a special reception.
