Armenian FM meets with Armenian students in Moscow

On June 7, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is on a working visit to Moscow, had a meeting with Armenian students of Moscow State Institute of International Relations and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As reported the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Hayern Aysor, greeting the students, Minister Mnatsakanyan expressed certainty that the quality vocational education that the Armenian students have received at reputable educational institutions like the Diplomatic Academy and the Moscow and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations will serve as a rich source of knowledge and as a strong foundation for their future careers, be it in diplomacy or other fields.

Emphasizing the fact that he also studied at Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated that these reputable educational institutions, which help prepare international experts, have provided education to hundreds of Armenian alumni, most of whom have played their major roles in the development of diplomatic service in the newly independent Armenia and currently stand out with their high professional qualities and skills within the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and within the diplomatic representations of Armenia.

Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs talked about the main directions and priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy, Armenia’s approaches to international and regional issues, touched upon the federal relations and strategic partnership between Russia and Armenia and shared the results of the meetings held during his visit.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister answered several questions from the students.
