Events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia held in Tehran

On May 28, a large community-wide event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the declaration of the First Republic of Armenia was held at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Within the scope of the initiative, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Artashes Tumanyan had meetings with the teachers, students and administration of the Marie Manoogian Middle School and Gulbenkian Elementary School and representatives of the Iran Chapter of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).

During the event, the students of Gulbenkian Elementary School gave a concert, after which Ambassador Tumanyan expressed congratulatory remarks and attended a ceremony during which certificates were granted to students who had stood out with their active efforts in the community and sports.

Ambassador Tumanyan also attended an exam session at Marie Manoogian Middle School.

During a meeting with the leadership and staff of AGBU Iran Chapter, views were exchanged, and Ambassador Tumanyan delivered a speech.
