Winners of Sergey Parajanov creative contest receive awards during event in Tbilisi

On January 8, winners of the creative contest devoted to Sergey Parajanov received their awards during an event hosted at the Caucasian Home in Tbilisi and organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia and the Union of Armenians of Georgia NGO.

As reported the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia to Hayern Aysor, among the participants of the event were RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan, First Deputy Minister of Georgia for Conciliation and Civil Equality Lasha Darsalia, clergymen, intellectuals and several representatives of the Georgian-Armenian community.

Upon the jury’s decision, Tinatin Bukia received the title of “Golden Laureate”, Yulya Chaluneli won first place, followed by Gohar Hakobyan and Levan Tsalugelashvili in second and third place, respectively.

Tinatin Bukia awarded Ambassador Sadoyan a certificate and granted a three-day pass to visit Armenia where he will have the opportunity to go sightseeing and get acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Armenia.

Certificates were also granted to the participants who had won prizes.

Reference: The creative contest devoted to Sergey Parajanov was held from October 15 to December 28, 2017. During the contest, the organizers received works from over three dozens of Georgian and Armenian painters.

The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia will cover all of the expenses of the trip for the winner.
