Delegates of Cyprus national football team visit Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex

This morning, delegates of the Cyprus national football team visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex where they paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, reported the press secretariat of the Cyprus Football Association.

“Ahead of today’s match, the members of Cyprus’s football delegation visited the memorial complex dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Turks in 1915 and laid flowers near the eternal flame in memory of the victims.

Vice-President of the Cyprus Football Association Fotis Fotiou, Director for Economics Andreas Morias and other leaders also visited Tsitsernakaberd,” the Cyprus Football Association’s press release reads.

Let us remind that the Cyprus-Armenia friendly match will be held at Republican Stadium named after Vazgen Sargsyan and will start at 18:00.
