6th Armenia-Diaspora Pan-Armenian Conference to be held

From September 18 to 20, 2017, ahead of the 100th anniversary of the heroic and victorious battles of the Armenians in the month of May and the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia, Yerevan will host the 6th Armenia-Diaspora Pan-Armenian Conference under the title “Mutual Trust, Unity and Responsibility”.

The conference will gather state, political and public figures, the leaders and members of pan-Armenian structures and Armenian community organizations, journalists, educators, cultural and religious figures from the Diaspora, as well as Armenia and Artsakh.

High-ranking state officials and spiritual leaders of the Republic of Armenia and the Artsakh Republic will also be attending the conference.

The conference will feature panel sessions devoted to the following topics:

  1. Armenia’s economic development;
  2. Regional challenges and the national security agenda;
  3. Foreign policy agenda and elimination of the consequences of the Armenian Genocide;
  4. Issues of preservation of the Armenian identity.

The conference will also feature receptions to be hosted by the President of the Republic of Armenia and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, as well as visits to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, Yerablour Military Pantheon and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Over 1,000 people from 58 countries have already confirmed their participation in the conference.
