Manchester bombing leaves over 20 dead

The bombing that took place at Manchester Arena left 22 dead and 50 wounded, reported BBC.

American pop star Ariana Grande was giving a concert for mainly young people and pupils at Manchester Arena. Police officers view the bombing as a terrorist act.

The BBC reports that the bombing didn’t take place in the arena, but outside when thousands of people rushed to the entrance after the concert.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has issued a brief statement in which she has talked about “the sickening attack”. Britain’s Minister of Internal Affairs Amber Rudd has referred to the bombing as “a barbaric attack”.
