On 14 April, Naregatsi Art Institute hosted the screening of the first part of Arsen Hakobyan’s film “Four-Day War or Ringing of Silence”. The screening was part of the “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement launched by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and was attended by RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan.

In his welcoming speech, Director of Naregatsi Art Institute Levon Ivanyan briefly presented the idea of the film and introduced the members of the film crew.

The film presents the Four-Day Artsakh War, the reasons behind it, the history of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and provides a historical background of Artsakh, Nakhichevan and Azerbaijan. The facts show the falsehood of Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian propaganda and how nonsensical Azerbaijan’s propaganda is.

In his speech, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan attached importance to the film’s significance, stressed the issue of presenting the film to the masses as much as possible and voiced hope that the film would also be presented to Armenians and foreigners abroad. Afterwards, Srapionyan granted the Certificate of Appreciation of the RA Ministry of Diaspora to Arsen Hakobyan.

At the end, Arsen Hakobyan expressed his words of gratitude.

The event ended with a discussion devoted to the film.
