RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives founders of the French Higher Engineering Institute in Armenia

On October 2, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the founders of the French Higher Engineering Institute, which was recently established in Armenia. Deputy of the RA National Assembly Mher Shahgeldyan also attended the meeting.

The minister greeted the guests, congratulated them and mentioned that Armenians love to study and that all parents in Armenia want their children to receive a higher education. The minister instructed to allow Diaspora Armenian youth visiting Armenia to participate in the cultural and educational programs organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora with the opportunity to visit the French Higher Engineering Institute and get first-hand information about the opportunities that it has to offer.

The guests expressed gratitude for the warm reception and mentioned that the newly established French Higher Engineering Institute has adopted a policy that will provide even socially disadvantaged youth with the opportunity to receive an education.

In the end, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan invited the guests to attend the solemn closing ceremony of the “Komitas Vardapet” Pan-Armenian Festival to be held at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on October 3rd.
